PLASTIC MATERIAL
Tamara Thompson uses plastic as a medium to document our planet's cry for help. Plastic has a very long lifespan. Throwing it away is a solution with fatal consequences.
"Soon we too will just be a pile of plastic."
To counteract the short lifespan of toys, Tamara Thompson incorporates children's toys into her work. These toys, once adored, played with, and used extensively, but then abandoned, lend a special magic to the sculptures she creates.
The color composition is challenging, as the base material cannot be obtained arbitrarily.
"My works are reflections of personal thoughts and dreams, intended as a stimulus for reflection and as a commentary on the current state of our society."

CONCRETE MATERIAL
Early character studies. The creation and processing of primal human character studies and emotions using clay and concrete.

MATERIAL BUILDING FOAM
The appeal lies in letting the material guide me. The act of foaming is intuitive. Afterwards, I look
and color the images. I am particularly interested in the color scheme, the patterns, and the movement.
These are existing scenes from another level that are being made visible.
